FABRICS
TROMPE L’OEIL AND TACTILE, THE ORIGIN OF A SYSTEM OF APPLIED AESTHETICS.
The Gorey pattern library is vast—crosshatches, architectural fragments, layered textures, and ornamental motifs in every shade and scale. This category draws on that archive to inaugurate an evolving textile offering that could unfold endlessly over time.
Each design in this first release is drawn not from characters or narrative, but from structure and atmosphere. This is the beginning of a story woven in three dimensions.

WALLCOVERINGS
SCENOGRAPHY FOR THE DOMESTIC STAGE, THESE ARE SCENE-SETTERS. AND STEALERS.
The Gorey archive offers entire interiors—implied, obscured, hinted at, and boldly drawn. The STRANGE AND FINE collection is built to expand and iterate—never repeat. Except on the half-drop.
The patterns are translated with discipline and restraint—elegant rather than eccentric, and never veering into novelty. The result is quietly opulent. Uber-chic. A visual language that elevates, rather than imitates.

ARCH-CHITECTURAL
ATTITUDE.
Gorey’s linework, when interpreted with care and restraint, can adorn even the most elegant interior environments. The STRANGE AND FINE Collection makes a room richer not by theme, but by texture, wit, and control.
Gorey-suffused interiors are whimsical and worldly, wherein form fuses with ornament to translate the artist’s linework into living dimension. The result: something strange, sophisticated, and entirely at home in the design landscape of now.

DESIGN
Edward Gorey did not simply draw—he constructed entire worlds in crosshatch. A singular American talent, Gorey’s wit was dry, his compositions architectural, and his point of view unmistakable; his name is synonymous with the idiosyncratic and exotic elegance of the wunderkammer.
While his work has been celebrated across myriad disciplines, it has never been given its due in the world of high design. Until now.
In celebration of the hundredth anniversary of Gorey’s birth, we present STRANGE AND FINE, a design collection which brings Gorey’s visual vocabulary into the realm of interiors.
Positioned at the intersection of fine design and popular culture, STRANGE AND FINE is Edward Gorey recontextualized—not as a children’s illustrator or cult figure, but as a master of mood, atmosphere, tone, texture, and visual rhythm. A design voice, given the expression it deserves, translated with contemporary artisanal craftsmanship, luxury materials, and a collector’s eye.
This collection repositions Gorey as the visual auteur of the American imagination. Not spooky, but splendid. Edward Gorey is not just for the bookshelf. He is for the drawing room, the dressing room, the dining room, and beyond.
